From The Artist:

The music I create has been a work in progress for over 15 years. If you had asked me five years ago, “What is your story?” I probably would have given a confusing and muddled response; at that point in time, I didn’t really know who I was. If you ask me what my story is now, I would probably tell you a story about a confused young man. Honestly, I think we are all continuously working to understand who we really are.

Through my music, I provide the stories of my life and the lessons I have learned with the intent to help others. For me, one thing is certain; the dream of “making it” isn’t going to cut it. Taking action will yield results, but action with purpose will yield the reward. We all want a purpose. Something that drives us. Something worth waking up for. Something worth living for. So frequently, we hear about an artist’s “story” but it rarely involves the ugly parts. The hard work that goes into it. The disappointment and the growth. Or maybe, the fear of disappointment hinders us from taking action. For artists who find success, the disappointment becomes commonplace and forms something else; motivation. The ugliest part of any story is when the protagonist loses that motivation, and loses the purpose. I won’t list all of my disappointments, as they aren’t worth re-addressing, and I prefer to keep the audience in a positive place. If there is one message that can give, it is that dreaming alone will not result in success.

I have spent a lot of my life honing my craft and not taking the necessary steps to go out into the world and create a purpose. I no longer wish to be that person.

Moving forward, I want to connect with people. With the power of music, I want to provide inspiration and motivation. I want to use the stories of my life to re-create emotion that is relatable and helpful. With that, I invite you to take this journey with me. Don’t be afraid to reach out. Use the contact section below to send me a message. I will respond. Let’s start a conversation. I look forward to hearing from you.
